The front desk service was awful, unfriendly unproffessional people. The room smelt like a basement that had water leaked in to it. Only 1 of the 3 lamps worked and when i turned that 1 on the lamp shade came off and hit me in the head. The walls were all scratched up, and the beds felt like they would break and fall on the floor at any minute, and the tv had no remote or channel guide. Lastely the included breakfast was nothing to write home about, some bagels or bags of oatmeal sitting on the counter.
The staff was really great in helping us find great restaurants and getting around town and to our destination.
I stayed there this weekend, reserved by my company. There were whiskers on the bathroom counter, something brown & chunky on a "clean wash cloth", interior bathroom door knob was loose. The TV remote back was 3 large pieces of now grey adhesive tape, I have no idea how that is sanitized. The main light was on a chain & when I turned I turned it on, the fixture itself had been taped & was flopping almost in half. Breakfast the next am continued to be a nightmare. Three trash cans were overflowing, every table was sticky, the juice dispenser did not work, there was no syrup for the waffles several people had cooked. The jelly was smuckers, 1 large jar of it with everyone dipping in. And there were 3 dead flies in the window of the breakfast nook, guess I was thankful they were dead.
This was disturbing. I was overwhelmed with the smell of cigarette smoke upon getting to my floor. The room was just all around sad, the bed very uncomfortable. I guess you get what you pay for, but Christ, you'd think the $56.00 we spent to be here less than 12 hours could at least warrant a TV remote control without cigarette burns in it. Weiirdd... Get me out of here!
This is one of the better Super 8's I've been to. They have a business center, workout facilities, and a rather large lounge area with TV, vending, and microwave.
