We had them come out to fix a clothes dryer vent that was improperly vented by the previous owners, and while I didn't think I would ever view duct work as a thing of beauty, I actually took a photo of the finished work and sent it to a friend! The job required going through drywall, siding, and cutting through some metal wire shelving in the laundry room, and the end result was so polished and precise, that I just stood there and stared at it for awhile, marveling at the details. :)
We had an issue with our dryer vents, exhaust and hookup. The workers were courteous, timely, professional and knowledgable about what we needed. We were very pleased with the service we got. The charge was a little more than a couple of other places we checked with but the work was high quality and well worth the small amount more that we paid. We will use them again for home maintenance issues that we cannot handle ourselves.
Wow, I am SO glad we found Handyman Solutions! We were a little hesitant to have them come out from Jeff City but weren't feeling good about proceeding with other companies here in Columbia after reading poor online reviews or hearing feedback from friends, so we decided to take a chance. Every point of contact, from the office staff, project manager, and crews, was a pleasure to work with--reliable, highly professional, accommodating of our schedules, and very skilled. All of our dealings left us with a sense that this is a business with a lot of integrity, and I would definitely use them again (and recommend them) in a heartbeat. While I can't speak to how their rates compare to other companies, for the high quality of the work, I feel like every penny was well spent.
Overshot their quote by 25% after initially upping their original quote - we overpayed for a relatively small amount of work. They demanded payment immediately without being willing to talk about the charges. In my opinion, we were overcharged because they knew we needed the work done quickly and were from out of town.
Dependable, Quick, Thorough and Respectful . . . and THEN Handyman Solutions was so affordable! I don't think I need to say more!
