If you want a great breakfast, lunch or dinner then look no further than Oscar's diner! It is a great experience all around! There food is fabulous with huge portions cooked to perfection! The staff is friendly and attentive!! We had Maegan as our waitress! She is beyond Great!! Thank you Oscar's for being number 1 in our book for breakfast and service!!! Great for vacationers!!!
All in all, Oscars is a great place to go whether you are your, or young at heart.
Nick and Brandy argued about not wanting me and my six year old daughter. Brandy was a super waitress. Worth her weight in gold to Oscars. Too bad I got Nick. He stood by kitchen looking at me looking at him. He never came. My daughter needed a refill while we waited. Brandy got everyone else a salad and I didn't get mine till later. I was there first. Nick talked to his coworkers and flirted. I looked at him. He didn't come. Brandy did laps around her 18 people. She stopped and talked and laughed w her patrons. Nick didn't come. Everyone I know likes this place. Ive tried and tried and all four times I get the worst worker cause the good workers want the most people. This isn't nice or fair. I'm never ever going back. I was going to sit in Brandy's section, but she didn't want us because we are only two people. Rib eye was plain and had no taste. I asked Nick if the rib eye had taste. He lied and said it was great. It's not even good. No thanks, Oscar. I tried four times. Four times your wait staff didn't like two people. That's not nice or fair.
When you pull into the parking lot you will see that it is full quite often, and that is because Oscars Classic Diner is such a fun place to go. When you walk in the door it feels like you stepped out of a time machine. The walls are ordained with all stars of the ages but locals are often entranced with photos of their home town from long ago. If you must wait to be seated, you will more than likely enjoy the conversation, as people reminisce about the good old days. Then you will see a regular walking out the door and the entire staff says "bye, see you tomorrow." If pictures just don’t cut it, you will still feel like you jumped back in time when you see the booths, the bar, the jukebox, and don’t forget about the rotating pie display in the back just screaming at you to buy a slice of this “blast from the past” homemade pie, but you should try to food first. They have a huge selection for all ages and cravings. Breakfast items include Omelets that are served all day, to French toast, and if lunch is what your after then you might choose “The Love Me Tender chicken strips.” If you are there for a date night, “The Honeymooners for 2.” That comes with TWO 16Oz steaks, sides and a piece of pie for $36.99. When you get done eating your meal the pie display might not be calling you as much, but maybe the root beer float with push you over the edge of full to the brim.
I judge a lot of new places by how good their hamburger is. I figured you jack a hamburger up there what else could you jack up that's more complex. They had a pretty good burger very nice and friendly. Nice music and nice older decor.
Brandy was a great server! Loved my choice. Little pricey but it’s not every day I come here. Food was good , hot , and didn’t take long. Local crowd. Homie feel.
