All three sites are directly off the walking path, so we had people stumbling into our tent area throughout the entire night. It seems like people don't realize that it's a campground, and just think your homeless.
Wonderful place to see the Missouri capitol building with the river in the foreground. Great place to launch a boat on the Missouri river. Peaceful place to sit and think!
One of the most inspiring and friendly places along the entire Missouri River. Joe Wilson has left a legacy here. This paddler friendly home away from home has been a stopping off place for the weary traveler as they made their way downstream. It's everyones park. Enjoy it!
Love sitting in this peaceful place watching the river roll by. Beautifully kept. Some swinging benches need repair but otherwise a great place for quiet contemplation.
Fantastic place to see the river, take an easy walk, and see the capital. We always brought out-of-town company here.
Decent cheap primitive camping just off the Katy trail. There are 3 campsites, and the area is covered in trash. I'm not sure if that's from littering, or from the river flooding. The blue campsite smelt like road kill so we moved to the red.
