I have lived here for 14 months and the apartments are very old and dirty. Walls are not properly insulated and the doors/windows are too old to prevent prevent the cold from coming in to the apartment. Electricity consumption gets too high during because of the apartment getting too cold with all the old and poor maintenance of the apartment. Maintenance is too bad and every complaint will take 3 - 4 days to get addressed. On top of all these, they take very high security deposit and never bother to answer us on any improper deductions when the apartment is vacated. There accounts are poorly maintained and we never get any response on the charges that has been posted. I will never recommend this property to anyone for god sake.
Be aware and sign nothing until you can see your living arrangements for yourself. Be sure to know your tenants rights as well.
I lived there 2016!!! Good home!!! Not really expensive!!!
My advice to anyone looking to rent from here is to ask to see your apartment before you rent bottom line. The apartment shown to me was fine, the apartment assigned to me had two water leaks above both toilets day one. It's a problem I had to fight them with until move out more or less. If you are going to rent from here, I suggest you see your apartment and not sign ANYTHING until you see your living situation.
After reading other reviews that were left, I decided to give mine a high grade to make up for the unjust ones previously left. It appears that some of the problems left among other tenants may have been poor judgement. Personally, any problem I have had, has been resolved relatively quickly considering the small maintence team. Problems include, clogged drain and AC recharge. From the span I started renting, they have replaced windows, power outlets and my dishwasher. The apt is up to my standards. You can transform even the littlest living situations into a respectable place if you have the right attitude. For the price, I'm happy with the one bath, one bed apt.
This complex is actually starting to get better. Before Chris and Jennifer got in the office i couldn't get anything fixed. I mean I was without a refrigerator for over a month. After that I had no air conditioning for a month as well. I would go see Courtney in the office and she would give me an excuse. With my air conditioning it was " I told him that your air conditioning wasn't working, he said he fixed it. I think there was a language barrier." i just looked at her. I feel that before we had our new staff it was terrible and almost impossible to get things done. However, now that we have new staff and an electronic system to pay rent and file complaints to maintenance this complex is becoming more efficient. Also Kudos for our new Maintenance man i don't know his name but the African American guy that is here now is awesome. He's friendly and he comes and fixes things right away. A lot of my friends that stay also speak highly of him they always say "He talks to me like he cares" but over all as i have said before its getting better. I wouldn't give this place 5 stars because of issues in the past but i will give it 3 for improvement and hopefully future improvement for new tenants.
Overall, I would give a 4.2.
