I had been having back spasms for years and one day I decided I had enough! I went to see Dr. Derrijk and he helped alleviate those spasms after only a couple adjustments. It feels great knowing you are doing your body good in the long run. It also helps that the Hollon's are so nice and are always willing to answer any questions!
IIf you are looking for a great experience, a friendly environment, and AWESOME chiropractic adjustments than this is the place to be!! I have never had such an extensive first examination. They took x-rays, measurements and really went over my complete medical history. It is a little bit of a drive for me from where I live, but it is well worth the drive! From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel like you are one of the family or just stopping by the establishment of an old and good friend. It is a clean and comforting environment. I always leave feeling better. I am a work in progress. I am 6 months pregnant and truly believe without being adjusted weekly my back would be unbearable. But everytime I stop by for an adjustment, I leave feeling good. I bring my children many times and they welcome like they are their own. They are very active in the community and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Derrick and Dr. Hilary has flexible schedules and can fit you in when ever you need to be seen. So do not hesitate if you are looking to feel like you have a brand new body! Stop by. IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT !!
Dr. Derrijk is always very helpful to adjust his schedule so he can adjust me after vigorous nights spent playing volleyball, kickball, golf, and everything else life throws at me. He's been helping me with my constant back and knee trouble. I feel much better after Dr. Derrijk adjust me. When life gives Dr. Derrijk lemons, I think he creates lemon oil by Young Living! Dr. Hilary is a nice person also.
I started going to Hollon Family Chiropractic in May 2014. I was having severe headaches from my O.N. I thought I would have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. It interrupted my work quality, thought process and even home life. My kids had become accustom to not going places because mom has a headache. I met Dr. Hilary and Dr. Derrijk at some chamber events, I liked their smiling upbeat and down to earth personalities. I had never tried chiropractic care before but decided to give it a try. Dr. Hilary has done wonders for me, I rarely find myself in bed and sick to my stomach from a headache anymore (use to be a once or twice a week occasion before). I have not been canceling outings with the kids due to headaches. I feel I have my life back. I not only go to them but I have my kids going to them as well now. I would recommend them to anyone that is in pain or not in pain. I have learned the importance of keeping a healthy spine, like we do for our teeth. We don't wait until we have a cavity to see a dentist so why do we wait until we are in pain to see a chiropractor? The spine is the most important thing in outer body!
I don't know what their target audience was for this family day event, but it wasn't for recruiting new customers like myself or that other elderly gentleman. We both left without being seen. I believe you missed your target, Hollon family chiropractic. But it seemed your office staff had a good time.
I attended their "family day" event today, with the offer of a free consultation and x-ray, to receive treatment at a later time. Upon arrival, the parking lot was roped off and something of a fair set up to welcome new and returning patients. There was a DJ playing rap and country rap music, a table with an elderly face-painter sitting there, and a ...Bounce House. How odd. Not a soul was there on this 94 degree day, just loud annoying young persons music. Inside was cake and some tables for entering prize drawings. I was surprised when I checked in to learn that I had to pay $10, instead of free. No biggy, I was still saving $50 on the x-ray and consult. But while staff members and the owners were coming in and out, seemingly having fun themselves, I waited to be seen for the neck pain. While I waited, 3 other persons who the staff knew by name, came in and almost immediately was directed into the treatment rooms, and soon after left. Myself and another elderly first-time patient sat their watching return patients walk in. The doc said "who's next?" and directs their friends in to be seen, although myself and another old guy had been their first, and had waited a while, enduring that awful music. The receptionist was worrying about deflating the bounce house instead of making sure new patients weren't forgotten.
