Bought a new GameCube controller that is barely usable. Felt pretty cheated to find out I paid for a notoriously low-quality off-brand controller for double its online price. Mistakenly trusted a store geared towards and run by game enthusiasts to sell a high quality product and I can't even return it.
I like slackers, but this location isn't great. They have 1 or 2 really helpful and nice employees, the rest of them are incredibly rude and hateful and are completely unwilling to help and look super unhappy to even be there in the first place.
Never go to this store for Trading Cards.
Store will not honor marked prices on Trading Card Singles, instead insisting that they look up Star City Games pricing without regards to the grade of the card. Charged me NM SCG prices on Played cards that were marked on their shelf for $15 less than what they actually rang it up as. (Charged $45 for a card that was priced at $30 on the shelf)
I come here often, and the employees are super helpful. They are very knowledgeable about games, comics, music, and card games. I stop in sometimes just to get advice. The only downside if how often you see people try price switching and other scams.
I give them one star because it is impossible to give them zero. Idiots, the whole lot.
