made a car rental reservation 2 months ago for a 7 passenger vehicle, because there were seven passengers, when I went to pick up the vehicle there was a 5 passenger vehicle there, the agent apologized and said that was what had been sent to him. No effort was made to find a suitable replacement, my reservation was cancelled and I was told that I would get my refund in 4-5 business days minus the $150 cancellation fee! Seriously! You dont supply me the vehicle I rented, make no effort to resolve the problem you created, and charge me $150 so I can go somewhere else! Never again AVIS
This place is customer friendly, great prices and if you talk nice get an upgraded vehicle for free. Usually I go by budget or avis both owned by same owner. Definitely recommend to get rental cars from this place.
The service from Omar and the team at the Jefferson City Avis location is outstanding. We've rented cars numerous times and highly recommend Omar ans his team.
I "reserved " a vehicle from Avis and lo and behold when I arrive no one's even at the building during their business hours. Not only did they not have the car I "reserved" but they offered me a smaller car for much more. The credit check took 20 minutes only to be turned down. Spent an hour in that place and got nothing. Enterprise was right across the street took less than two and a half minutes to get my vehicle. Trust me go to Enterprise. It's cheaper, faster , they have more than one employee, and their computers work.
I was a first time renter with Avis this month and am seriously impressed with the corporate and local elements. Corporate- THANK-YOU for not charging a fee to return to a different location. LOCALLY- Omar rocked! He was friendly , had a sense of humor and was prompt in delivery/paperwork. I will rent her EVERY TIME going forward. THANK-YOU for exceptional service. I appreciate this rental car company's great service and value.
