Recently, I had a molar teeth with cavity and pain of entire world.
Dr. Johnson and all of the staff at Jefferson City Dental Care are awesome!! I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but they make it so painless and put you at ease (I almost fell asleep in the middle of getting a filling and a crown the other day!). They are always so helpful and friendly and are willing to answer all of your questions as well. I've even taken my daughter there for her first trip to the dentist. They were so gentle with her and made the experience a great one, and she loves the dentist now!! Me and my entire family will continue to go to JCDC for as long as we live in the Jeff City area.
Then, in the late afternoon, I called 'Jefferson City Dental Care'. They were all booked for rest of the day, but when I explained my situation(pain), the asked mo to come immediately. I was examined by a doctor, x-ray were taken, antibacterial was prescribed for 48 hours, and my teeth was extracted on third day.
You can tell a lot about a dentist by observing what kind of people work with him. Exceptional people tend to attract each other. Watch the interactions of Dr. Johnson's staff with him, with the other staff members and with his patients. You will see a group of very competent people that trust each other and enjoy working together, all with the common goal of really and truly caring for the patients. What you see at his office, you just don't see everyday. They make it look easy. And, with any difficult job, that means they are very good at what they do. It takes a whole team of people to provide excellent dentistry. And that is what I have experienced at Dr. Johnson's office. I am a dentist - and I should know.

My son had to have 2 baby teeth extracted. I was really nervous on how he was going to handle having a needle in his mouth for the first time and having someone pulling on his teeth. I was amazed on how well it went. My son didn't flinch once through the whole procedure. Dr. Johnson did a great job.
If I could rate a complete 0 I would. I have a tooth I need emergency service on. I called here and although they are out of network, the lady that answered the phone named Debbie, stated they would bill my insurance. She sent paperwork for me to fill out and said she would call my insurance so she could find out my coverage and then tell me what the cost would be. She called me back saying they did not send the correct paperwork over. I said that is ok I will call them and get the correct information. So after an Hour on the phone with my insurance I send the paperwork over. It had a complete breakdown of my insurance and what it covers to a T. Debbie calls me back and says for fillings she needs to know what it covers 80% of. I said great I will call them back and get that information. So I looked at the paperwork I already got from the insurance company and it clearly stated the information they needed. I then called the office back and the lady who claimed to be the manager said NO were not going to file with your insurance I stated that Debbie already told me she would and that you guys do and had me go through all the trouble. She stated that it didn't matter they didn't need the headache and then stated she wasn't going to be bullied into doing it. I said to her how am I bullying you by telling you what your staff said. She said look your going to pay out of pocket. I told her I wasn't and I would go somewhere else. She then stated GOOD because they didn't need the headache. After she said that, I then stated that I will be happy to let everyone know how they treat customers. She then said I wasn't a customer and hung up! HOW RUDE!!! Just awful customer service and I highly recommend against them.

I tried 32 dental facilities across Jefferson City and Columbia, no one could get me in the same day or the next day, not even for examination. This further added to my pain and I started complaining about dental care in America as a whole.
And, if you do not have medical insurance, don't worry, their price is very much affordable. I am feeling in love with entire group, staffs, doctors, phone attendant, all.
