Please inform your managers to check the product often especially crab as it can spoil quickly when unattended. This is so disgusting and the second time this has happened at a Hyvee. I will no longer shop at any Hyvee and I hope this does not happen to anyone else. Hyvee please get your act together. This kind of business makes loyal customers shop elsewhere.
Upon arriving home I started to cook the crab for dinner. What do you know the crab legs are completely rotten. After having called and speaking with a manager he told me to bring the receipt in for reimbursement. That would be great if I didnt live an hour away.
A very nice store to shop at. I enjoy getting the things that I'm looking for that i can't get anywhere else, Thank You.
My suggestion is if anyone bought seafood from hyvee between 5:50pm and 6pm on October 3rd to please return it before the same thing happens to you.
Furthermore someone should definitely inform the lady behind the seafood counter that touching raw shrimp, not changing your gloves, then going to the cooked crab is definitely cross contamination.

George O. Was so upset that I came through his line with 5 items that he snatched my carrying basket out of my hand, dumped the items out on the register and threw the basket in the corner. Forgot to take out the toothbrush I purchased for my daughter, so he grabs the basket BACK up from the corner and does the same thing. I didn't want to be out at 8 in the morning either, yet I still treat folks with decency. Will definitely be calling the regional and corporate office.
Bought 1 lb of raw uncooked shrimp and 2 lbs of snow crab clusters. I vowed to never shop at the hyvee in lake Ozark ever again due to rotten crab legs.
Only part wrong with this beautiful grocery store, is the price... sometimes they have pretty good sales though. The whole cents off a gallon of gas for certain purchases is a great deal.
Hyvee use to be one of my favorite places to get Chinese food. However, the quality has declined greatly. Now when you order Sweet and Sour Chicken, you get rice, 2 mounds of extremely dry chicken and 2 SMALL containers of sauce that literally does not provide enough to coat the chicken, let alone give the rice a little moisture. Very disappointing. Apparently I need to look for a new place to get Sweet and Sour Chicken.
