You better make sure your child is completely comfortable with these people before you pay 700 dollars for the first month . They will not refund any of the money . They say they have a ton of overhead and cannot afford to do refunds even if your child only makes it 7 days . Which by the way she would go to bed crying and complaining about going there and the mornings she would refuse to go . It was just not working for her. I had also done an interview with these people in the past for a teaching position and learned they only pay their teachers 7.50 per hour . That by the way is a small overhead. I feel like these people are greedy with money by the way they treat others concerning money . My daughter was very unhappy here and only made it 7 days . 100 dollars per day . We really wanted it to work for her but it just didn't and I want my money back ! At least 20 days worth . Do your research!!!!
Since our son was born we've been through the gamut of childcare options. We hired an in-home nanny, transitioned through two in-home daycares, and enrolled him in another preschool in town. After multiple frustrating experiences at the preschool involving lack of cleanliness, lack of communication, lack of security, and lack of consistency, we finally made our way to Growing Hearts, and what an amazing experience it has been. The facility is always clean and organized. Boo boos and discipline are always reported. The facility is locked and allows access only with a personalized pin. Because only two teachers work there, the number of students is limited by law and is just enough for fun engagement with different types of peers, but not so big you feel like your child is lost in the shuffle. Traditional Montessori principles are used throughout the day, but the children still have plenty of "silly" time. In the eight months we have been there, our son (2 YO, now 3) has participated in building and planting a garden, has learned his letters and is mastering their sounds, can count almost unaided to 100, speaks several words in Spanish (one of the teachers is bilingual and incorporates Spanish throughout the day), can draw and identify shapes, and most recently, explained the rain cycle to me! The children paint, do pottery, play outside, garden, sing, dance, and do yoga. Boundaries and rules are also regularly enforced - something this working mom is truly thankful for. I wasn't asked to write this review, but felt compelled to do so. Great service deserves high praise, and I recommend Growing Hearts to anyone looking for childcare.
My son goes here and he really enjoys it. He even talks about it on the weekends! it is very affordable, as my son was in a daycare befor this and I wa paying more for less. They really care about our son and they want him to succeed!
The teachers are very warm and welcoming at Growing Hearts Montessori! The school is a clean, professional, and loving environment. They encourage independent growth allowing your child to grow at their own pace. The passion for teaching is obvious throughout! Jeff City is lucky to have such a great resource for kids and their parents!

I know because I interviewed for a position there to work and could not believe their sorry pay scale . I will never recommend this place to anyone. They do not communicate well with the parents . At least that was my experience. We would of been happy to have our daughter there but she was so upset everytime we had to get up and go . She would start complaining at night about it before bed , dreading the thought of even going there . Do your research into this place cause it's not for everyone.
