Informative muesem inside the State Capitol Bldg. Once get past security, you are free to explore. It's beautiful inside and out.
Kelsey was our tour guide, she did an incredible and through all job at giving us an overview of the history of the state and of the Capitol building. We would highly recommend going on a guided tour. If you go on the tour you have a chance to get to see and learn about Thomas Hart Benton’s painting which is extremely impressive.
Stopped here before the 2017 Eclipse. The building is awesome. Definitely stop and see if you passing through.
Definitely well worth the stop .Tours are free and the staff are big history buffs .I'm not saying the place is haunted but I did see 1 or 2 little spirits .And that's a good thing
Had an awesome time. Came up for the ECLIPSE! Was totally worth the 3-1/2 hour drive up and the 6 hour drive home (mass exodus of traffic). Capital building is beautiful!
