This state division is a joke. License renewals for retailers are effective July 1 to June 30 every year, but they require renewal applications be submitted during the month of MAY and if they're not submitted to their liking, they impose ridiculous fines/fees. Their people must have the mindset that we work for them, and not the other way around. And when other license applications are submitted (well in advance of the need) they lose them. Government just does not understand the concept of customer service. It's been that way since 1776 and it'll never change. Shame on the Missouri Division of Alcohol & Tobacco Control.
