I walked into the store with my friend and we were immediately greeted by Whitney. She was very friendly and explained that once we found what we might be interested in, she could tell us what the discount would be. From that time until I left she was right there with me and one of the most helpful sales gals I've ever encountered. The entire process for my purchase was great and Sophia at the front finished up everything by giving me all of my paperwork. I will definitely shop there again due to the outstanding customer service. I HOPE that I can still give a 5 rating once my furniture comes in and hopefully on time. A little nervous about some of the other reviews that talk about delay of their orders. Time will tell. But for today's visit, I give Whitney a "10" as well as Sophia. Excited to get my furniture. This was the Jefferson City, MO Store.
Just went in to browse and kill some time since my wife and I had yet to check out the store. Sales lady was super annoying and pushy. Kept following us around, asking us "is there anything you just can't live without???" No. I can live without all of your expensive merchandise. Probably won't be returning since there are other better options close by.
Service was good from sales floor. Then it’s all downhill. Their banks they do financing through are awful they checked my credit multiple times before approving me.(which drops your credit score...gee thanks) Then sent me a credit card that I didn’t want and asked them to just send me a bill for payments so I can make them and for them. They told me yeah sure we can do that . The finance company cancelled my whole account apparently. I talked with Ashley who called them and they told Ashley it was all fine and I could still do financing through the account that was opened. Then my furniture comes into the store and on the day of pick up they tell me they can’t get the financing company to give me the loan now.
We had a nice time over the weekend with the very helpful staff at Ashley furniture. Everyone we spoke with was knowledgeable and kind. I have not recommended a store in the past. My usual experience with "furniture sales" has been less than "fun". This experience was informative and calm. Thanks!
Oddly enough I posted a review 45 minutes ago and it gone. Weird! I guess not only treating me badly, lying to me, and not being able to correct a simple typo are not the only things this store can mess up. Spend a little more somewhere and get real customer service. Thanks for deleting my last review. I guess this one will be gone soon also.
Screw them I’ll pay it all off when I pick it up if it’s gonna be that hard. Ashley Home store will never see another dime of my money. They were so inadequate with financing it’s scary. Go to jc mattress or Missouri furniture and don’t waste your time here.
